I've Been Busy!

I have been so busy I haven't had the chance to sit down and write a new blog for quite a while now. At the beginning of October I put some of my crafts out at Fair on the Square in Huntsville. I sold a few things, but I was mostly disappointed as I have been at every other Craft Fair I have gone to.  For some reason I don't stop making things, though! Making things is cathartic for me!  I had Super Hero Capes like these:

Since then I have started personalizing the capes....like this one:

Or this one for a girl with her initial on it:
I also made crayon rolls and "travel books" for kids:

Since then I have started using my machine to embroider items such as these cute onesies:

And I have learned how to do some "in the hoop" projects and make items like these quilted monogrammed keychains:

And this Christmas gift card/money holder that doubles as an ornament:
And one other thing I am working on is aprons....for children and adults....but so far I have only made a child's apron:

I have had a couple of requested items like this hot pink and black pillowcase dress:
And this camo and purple pillowcase dress:
I am also still busy making and selling Christmas ornaments! So, as you can see I have been a busy little bee! On top of all this I am still a mother of 4, a wife, a cook, a chauffeur, a problem solver, homework helper, bath giver, diaper changer....you get the idea! I also go to school on Wednesday mornings for 3 hours at our church for a class called Faith Bible Institute. It is a 3 year course and goes through the entire bible. I really enjoy it and have learned a lot!
We recently accepted the position of Worship Leader at Needham Road Baptist Church (a.k.a. The Church @ 242) in Conroe, TX and Ben's first Sunday is Nov. 7.  We are certain that is where God wants us serving, and we can't wait to see how He will use us there!
Cole played with the band at his first football game this past Tuesday and he really liked it.  He was also awarded "Park Pride" which means that he has certain privileges that other kids don't have. You earn it by having good conduct, showing initiative, and being picked by your teachers.  He gets free admission to all Mance Park athletic events, a front row seat at all Pep Rallies and assemblies (which he isn't excited about), the privilege of eating outside of the cafeteria, he doesn't have to have a hall pass, and he doesn't have to report to the gym in the mornings like all the other students.  We also got this super sweet bumper sticker that says "I am a Park Pride Parent and I'm Proud!"  What better way to embarrass your child for life than put that on your car?!?  Cole wanted us to just throw it away, but Ben put it on his guitar toolbox to which Cole rolled his eyes...yes he has started rolling his eyes!
Jacob had AWESOME grades....all A's and B's. He is doing so much better in his classes than he did last year. Of course it helps that he likes his teachers and they like him!  He is still having a bit of trouble with the other kids making fun of him or picking on him, but I think things are getting better.
Annalisa had straight A's and only good comments from her teachers. She loves school and always does well.  She comes home telling me about the boys who want to marry her or told her she was cute that day! Oh man, I am NOT ready for her to get any older! LOL
Benjamin is growing so fast! He learned how to climb up in the chairs--which scares Cole--but last night I turned around and yep, he was on top of the table! I knew it was only a matter of time before he did it!  He is so much fun and the kids tell him all the time that they are so happy we had him!  That makes my heart happy!

You have been busy! Those are the cutest things EVER that you have made. I am jealous and will need to take lessons. ;)

We are so glad you are here, too!
